France is Our Specialty!

Beginning in 2000, our first tours were to Provence and the Riviera .  Our repeat customers, who enjoy our style of travel, asked us to create new tours to different regions.  At their request, we have added tours to Languedoc-Roussillon, The French Alps, and Paris-Ile-de-France.  Next year we are introducing our new tour, “Perched Villages and Port Towns of the Riviera”.

We have Experience!

We have experience!  For 12 years we have been taking groups to visit different regions in France.  We have traveled to France 28 times since we began and have taken over 300 people to visit this beautiful country.

Your Guide

Best of France Travels is an owner operated tour company.  Carol Etheridge personally accompanies every tour.   She taught French in Atlanta for 11 years.  She studied at the Sorbonne in Paris, and lived in the French Alps where she taught English in a French public school.  Carol is the recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship as well as a National Endowment for the Humanities Fellowship to study folk arts and traditions of the French Alps.  She loves sharing the beauty, history,  and culture of France with all of her customers!
