Small Group Tours to the South of France

Enjoy nine days of luxury and comfort in the South of France. "Our best vacation ever!"

France Is Our Specialty!

Every tour is led by owner, Carol Etheridge. We have specialized in tours to the South of France since 2000. Our tours are designed especially for our friends and customers who have expressed a desire to visit France. All of the activities, restaurants, and accommodations have been carefully selected to provide a top quality tour that combines the right mix of fun, adventure, culture, comfort, and relaxation. Best of France Travels will introduce you to the real France and a way of life that we like to dream about!  Our  customers have provided us with their input and their ideas which we continue to incorporate into our tours.  We value our customer loyalty and strive to improve with each new idea.   “I had such a good time on my first trip in June 2006 that I went again in June 2007!” – Leslie Kahn, Sarasota, Florida. We Are Different!

Our tours are designed to give you a “home base” from which to visit the region.  We want you to feel at home in the South of France and we do not believe in rushing from place to place.  You will have the freedom to focus on your interests and  time to relax.  You only change hotels one time.  You will have free time to sit in the gardens, relax by the pool at our inn, walk into the village to buy chocolates and wine, or watch a game of “Boules” played by the locals.  Each day begins with a leisurely buffet breakfast that you can enjoy on the terrace of our inns.  Our hotels are located only a few minutes walk from historic town centers.  We believe that it is important to make the most of every minute when traveling.  Our tours are planned carefully to ensure that you do!  We are different from other tours. Nine Glorious Days!

All the necessities are taken care of for the entire nine days of your tour.   Every day is filled with activities: cooking school, wine tasting, olive oil tasting, chateaux, open air markets, Roman ruins, medieval walled cities, cathedrals, hill towns, magnificent vistas of vineyards, mountains and valleys, the Mediterranean sea, sunflower fields. Visit quaint fishing villages, exotic gardens,  taste  regional specialties, sip the local wines, explore antique markets, and relax on the beach or by the pool.  Enjoy a private boat excursion with onboard tasting of fresh oysters and mussels from the sea, take a private tour of Noilly Prat where the finest vermouth is made, picnic outdoors beside a vineyard and relish each dish with a different wine pairing. Wind down your day with a special dinner in the garden…Read more about visits and excursions.
